Dear HSD Community,

Truth Advocates Speech and Debate club is announcing the Truth Advocates Debate Camp!

When: July 18th-July 22nd 8:30 A.M-5:00 P.M.
Where: Indiana University Southeast- A beautiful campus located a little less than 30 minutes from Louisville, Kentucky in New Albany, Indiana. We will be using their library and computer labs with access to all IU databases. Library will remain open for those who want to get in some extra research time.
Who: Hopefully you!
All instructors have competed at the national level. Confirmed Instructors include: Myself (Bronson Bast), Derek Bast, Hannah Rucker, Nathaniel Cullen, Karah Broaddus and Rachel Yeager. We've all had extensive teaching experience.
Why:(And more specifics on camp)
We're going to focus heavily on the resolution, personal critique and strategy. We will be bringing in speakers to talk on the resolution and Alumni from the area for critique rounds.
We are offering three different tracks- One for beginners, advanced, and a parent track (Parent track is free with a child participant)
After camp you'll have a HUGE jumpstart on the resolution, a better understanding of debate, and a case.

Additional Information:
Lodging: Host Housing is available, there are also plenty of hotels nearby.
Food: Is not included in the price. There are numerous places to get food near campus and time will be allowed for lunch.
Cost: The cost for one student is $175 The second student from the same family is $150. (Which is a great price for a week long debate camp)

Email Debbie Yeager at and ask for a registration form.

Post any additional questions. I'll update this as needed.
