That's 4 LD & Speaks wins for me. Don't ask me how! I'm still stunned.

We got 5 TP slots at regionals. Dunning/Uhlmeyer isn't going to Nats, so their slot rolls down to Gonzales/Sefzik (6th). I'm pretty sure the 5th place team, Roberts/Roberts, also isn't going, so if they decline their slot it will roll down to Davis/Hartung in 8th (Dunning/Dunning, 7th, will decline it). So that's Basile/Tizzano, Moeller/Williamson, Crosby/Sefzik, Gonzales/Sefzik, and Davis/Hartung, probably. At-Large will probably go to Breaux/Starkovich, though that's just a rough estimate. It could also go to Hooper/Hostetler.

EDIT: As Simon pointed out, the slots went to Beasley/Rule and Hollister/Uppiano.

Out of curiosity, it there guaranteed to always be an at-large slot? If a region only has one regionals slot because an event is so small, do they still have one at-large slot?

Yep! There's always at least one AL slot and at least one regionals slot for each event.

Bracket for this last tournament

7 teams broke on 3-3 records. Two of those directly qualified. 4 teams broke on 5-1 or better and none got through quarters.

Lower seeds won in 8 of the 15 match-ups. When Aff, teams were 13-2. I feel like this might speak to the idea that Stoa (I thought) allowed higher seeds to pick sides.

Hollister/Uppiano and Beasley/Rule have earned the At-Large slots for Region 2.

I still don't understand why it is that Region 8 has about 30 teams, but gets 5 direct slots to nationals, plus 2 at large slots, while Reg10n has OVER 30 teams, and yet we only get 3 slots plus one at large. :P

Also, who all qualified from Region 4?? And who qualified from Region 6?

Over 30 teams total? Or at Regionals? Because we had about 45-50 teams total and about 30 at Regionals.

Are you referring to teams at regionals or from a region-wide perspective? Region 8 regionals had 34 teams qualify and 28 teams compete. Region-wide collectively there were about 45-50 teams all year.

Haha. Ninja'd
