Let's face it, Sefziks will win at least one nats before they graduate...I'm inclined to think it'll be this year because it's in their home state. :P

Well, I am pleased to announce that my partner for this season is Elijah Gonzales. Hence, the team Sefzik/Gonzales.
He's not on HSD, but he's debated for 4 years, won speaks at numerous tourneys, and has been a team policy finalist multiple times.

My sister, Abigail, is partnering with Ben Crosby - an LDer turned TPer - he's won like a crazy amount of speech events and he's really good at LD.

And accomplished TPer Scott Starcovich is partnering with accomplished LDer Harvey Breaux, from Idaho.

I almost switched to TP this year; this post makes me glad I stuck to LD for one more year.

Since I have not seen any region 4 people post. I'll add one from our region.
Cavanna/Chenault for the win!
Both are smart, amazing speakers and did amazing last year!
(I Would add others, but I am waiting to see who else partners.)

I feel extremely left out right now. Not to sound prideful or anything but I consider myself to be a fairly good TPer. I think we should have a mid-season re-evaluation for RVII debate teams.

Landers/Shoemaker: They won the first Regional Tournament which should come as a shock considering they made it to finals and semi's consistently last year.

Howard/Howard: They made it to Semifinals, again. If they can find a solid AFF they are The Team to beat.

That is about it for now (I would include myself but I think San Diego will be the true test for my partner and I). From what I experienced at NC I would place Irey/King as a top R4 team.

Don't be offended. The majority of the greatest TP teams I've ever watched have never been posted here. This isn't the NCFCA's official Hall of TPers Who Rock, Are Awesome, and Deserve Free Ice Cream. It's just a forum where people randomly post teams that strike them as good. You're not being excluded. :D

Well said.
This thread is basically where friends give shout outs to other friends, centralized towards a specific reason.
On the other hand, this thread doesn't seem of enough importance to be offended or "left out."

Yes I was joking. But based on the responses that I see a would suggest renaming this thread "Most Popular Debate Teams who could possibly be good 2015-2016"

Region 5: David/David- almost goes without saying. These guys are great.
Landon/Pendergrass- definitely have a shot. They have at large right now...
Faye/Winnes- new aff will do it for them.
A lot of other people have a shot at Nats but these are the ones who will probably make it.

TBH, there haven't been any good debate teams since 'Nam. No one even knows what true talent is anymore...
