Hey Guys,

It's possible my regular partner won't be able to make it to the National Open in Georgia. If that's the case, I'd like to see if I can get a partner for the tournament.

If you're interested in partnering for the Open, let me know. I'm "open" to any region possibilities. Send me a PM.

Just an emphasis, this is not finalized, and he may be able to go after all. However, I'm wanting to cover all my bases early.

I'll edit it the OP if I find a partner, and the rest of you can use this for requests to specific tournaments if you like.

Mods, do you want to sticky this for all tournament-specific partner requests?

Hey Guys,

It's possible my regular partner (yes, Delta_FC) won't be able to make it to the Fayetteville Tournament in Georgia. If that's the case, I'd like to see if I can get a partner for the tournament.

If you're interested in partnering for the Qualifier, let me know. Send me a PM.

Just an emphasis, this is not finalized, and he may be able to go after all.

Hi Everyone,

This is Joanna Paul (cannot use my own account due to impending email change so I am posting from my brother's account). My partner, John Sailer, and I qualified for regionals at the recent Capital Challenge qualifier in VA (region nine). I wanted to get some more practice before regionals but my partner is not able to go to the VA Beach tournament so I am wondering if anyone would want to partner with me for this tournament. Just to be clear, if we qualified to regionals at VA Beach I would go with my regular partner. This is time sensitive since registration opens at 10 PM tonight (Feb. 3rd) so if anyone would be interested I would appreciate it if you could respond as quickly as possible. You can email me at joannas.paul@gmail.com if you are interested.

Thanks!
Joanna

Joanna, I find it hard to believe that an email change would "ruin" your account. Try this. ucp.php?i=profile&mode=reg_details

I changed my email at the location you linked to and have to wait for them to re-activate it. (they automatically have re-activate any time you change the email address)

Hi, my name is Suzanna Lewis. I am currently using my sisters old account because mine is in the same state as Joanna’s....

Anyway I am going to the Augusta qualifier(R8), and as for my regular my partner, it doesn’t look like she will be able to make it.... again not finalized, but it is very unlikely that she will!

I am novice but I have been around debate since India year and I have been dying to debate from the start. My regular partner would obviously takes priority if we break but I don’t think that it is overly likely we will at the one qualifier that my regular partner and I are going to.

If you are interested, PM me. :)

It's that time of year again. :)

-

My name is Laura McKinney and I am from Region 8. This will be my senior year of high school and third year of competing in team policy debate.

This past year I went to the Columbia Qualifier, the Augusta Qualifier, and regionals and broke at all three tournaments. My partner and I placed 16th at Columbia. I also got a speaker award. At Augusta we advanced to quarters and placed 6th. Then at regionals we broke and lost our octas round on a 2-1 decision. If we had won that round, we would’ve qualified to nationals, so I was only one ballot away.

This year my goal is to qualify to nationals. I am highly committed to debate and am willing to do the work required to do well. I’ve already started researching for the new resolution.

If you are interested or would like more information, PM me or send me an email at laura.beth.mckinney[at]gmail[dot]com.

I edited my signature to include most of the info, but here is some other aspects:

I was always the 2A and most of the time the 2N last year, except for two or three times. This year I want to be the 2A and the 1N.

I had good success last year leading a team. Two qualifier wins, 2nd at regionals, and 21st at nationals.

Just message me if anyone is interested.

It looks like I may join the ranks of the partner-less.

This will be my fifth year debating and I will be a junior in high school. I went to regionals last year and, in order to follow the legacy of my older brother, I will strive to make it to nationals this year.
My stats aren't all that impressive.

As the others have said, send a message to me if you're interested.

Hello all!

My name is Cayla Miller and I'm 15 years old. (Will be 16 in October.) I'm looking for a partner, for the 2011-2012 debate season.
This will be my third year competing in Team-Policy Debate. My club is PSDC, in NC. I am currently competing in R9. Debate is my main activity. I am very committed.

As for credentials:
I qualified for Regionals in Fredericksburg, VA. We placed 11th, 6th seed, and I recieved 2nd speaker. This past year, at the Huntersville, NC Practice Tournaments my partner and I placed 4th in January. We placed 1st in February, and I recieved 4th speaker. I also just got back from Patrick Henry College's 2011 Debate Camp. My partner and I made it to the final round and recieved 2nd place on a 4-3 ballot. We were 2nd seed with a 5-1 record. I also placed 9th in speaker awards.

If you are interested simply PM me, or email me at: lawyerintraining.cvm@gmail.com
Thank you.

Hey everyone,
My name is Emily Hoel, I am 16 years old, I live in Garden Valley (CA) which is about an hour from Sacramento. I have been doing debate for 2 years and watching for about 10.

So, I am looking for a partner for the 2011-2012 debate season...
• That has at least two years of debate experience
• That is dedicated to debate and research
• That is at least 16 years old
• That lives within 2 hours of Sacramento (may be negotiable)
• That averages at least 23-24 speaks/tourney
• That can go to at least 4 tournaments and a couple round robins

So pretty much, I really want to qualify for NITOC this year, and I want a partner with the same goal in mind.
If you’re interested, email me at em.ann.hoel@gmail.com. :)

Just to add another recommendation, Josh is a legit guy and a awesome debater. :D

My novice year, I went to the NC qualifier with my partner Cayla Miller but didn't break. I have also competed in speech. If you're interested, please contact me either with smoke signals, PM, or email at dilemma97@gmail.com
Thanks!

Greetings!

I am looking for a partner in Region 8 that is committed to debate. Speaking and debating skills would be great, but this is my last year and I just need a partner that's willing to put in the time to at least go to regionals.

I have competed at three qualifiers and this is my second year debating.

If you're interested, PM me, or contact me at tex.moore93@gmail.com
