Anyone else going? My March-Madness style bracket is all filled out, only two more cards need to be cut; I'm ready to roll.

I'll try to post rounds and breaks as I can. No guarantees because I don't think we get internet at Marshall.

In case anyone cares, the quarters will be:
WKY Susan Taylor
WKY Spencer Orlowski
WKY Tiffany Lewis
WKY Alexis Eliot
NEB Bryn Walters
LAF Ryan Monahan
LAF Zoe Staum
and either:
TRU Myra Milan or
NEB Jeff Garst (we don't know how the third judge voted)

I dropped in double octas to Jarvis Sam from Rice on a 2-1 decision that......let's just say was less than satisfactory.

Other than losing in double-octas, I'm happy with how it turned out. Both Myra and Susan are fantastic debaters, and Susan definitely deserves to be the national champion. She's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

None that I know of. I might text the coach at Truman St to see if they have any videos of the final round. Myra has been videotaping all her rounds, so they might wind up online.

I hope she posts her Quarter against Spencer Orlowski. That round was the nearest to a perfect debate round you'll ever see from a neg (Spencer). His NC strat was brilliant and he went for exactly the right arguments. The Hillsdale team voted 5-0 for Spencer, but she somehow won on a 2-1. I would love to see that round again to figure out how...

I hate it when that happens...except Spencer was kind of a jerk when I hit him at Cliffs two years ago.

He wasn't a jerk in that round at all. He made one slightly sarcastic comment about the aff, and apparently that was enough to lose.

I just found out Susan won the final on a 3-2 decision.

Up until NFA she did, yes.

At NFA she ran a kritikal aff that was topical (sort of), and had the same thesis of engaging the silenced voices, but it was not project. It was about how women are oppressed in agriculture and all that.
